AMCHP is partnering with the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) to convene the Title V Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Federal-State Partnership Meeting, held at the historic Mayflower Hotel in downtown Washington, DC from Sunday, November 5 – Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

Location Information

All meeting activities will take place at the Mayflower Hotel in downtown Washington, DC. The closest airports are Washington Reagan (DCA) and Washington Dulles (IAD). Train service via Union Station is also quite close to the hotel. The Mayflower is centrally located and easy to reach via public transportation or taxi/car share. The hotel can be reached via the Farragut North (red line) and Farragut West (blue, orange, and silver lines) on the Metro. Parking is available at the hotel; no discounts are available for meeting attendees. Please note that parking in downtown Washington, DC is extremely limited and expensive; attendees are discouraged from driving to the hotel.

Online registration is now closed, however, attendees may register on-site at the meeting. Check-in and on-site registration will be available:

  • Sunday, Nov 5                12 noon – 6 pm
  • Monday, Nov 6               8 am – 4 pm
  • Tuesday, Nov 7              8 am – 4 pm
  • Wednesday, Nov 8       8 am – 10 am

Food During the Meeting

No meals will be provided, however, light refreshments and drinks (coffee, tea, water) will be served during breaks between sessions, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.

Health & Safety

The health and safety of meeting attendees and the community are AMCHP’s top priority. If participants are not feeling well or exhibit signs of infectious illness, including Covid-19 or flu, we expect that participants will not travel or participate in in-person activities. Meeting participants are encouraged to be up-to-date on Covid-19 and flu vaccinations, including fall 2023 boosters. Masks are welcomed and optional. AMCHP will continue to monitor conditions and follow guidance from federal and local public health authorities, as well as the conference venue, and reserves the right to modify this policy as appropriate.
