Serves as the Southeast MO Family Partner for the Bureau of Special Health Care Needs, providing resource information and peer support to families of CYSHCN, and serves as the AMCHP Family Delegate.

Oversees all epidemiology for public health practice and serves as state lead for SSDI.

Coordinates adolescent health programs and initiatives.

Manages the MCH Services Program, which works with the 115 local public health agencies to build community-based systems and expand the resources those systems can use to respond to priority MCH issues; provide and assure mothers and children (in particular those with low income or with limited availability of health services) access to quality MCH services; reduce health disparities for women, infants, and children, including those with special health care needs; promote the health of mothers and infants by assuring prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care for low income, at-risk pregnant women; and promote the health of children by providing preventive and primary care services for low income children.

Manages maternal and women's health programs, including: Baby and Me Tobacco Free Program-Telehealth, Cora Faith Walker Doula Training Program, Extended Women’s Health Services, Maternal Autopsy Reimbursement, Maternal Mortality/Pregnancy Associated Mortality Review (PAMR), Perinatal Quality Collaborative (PQC), Maternal & Neonatal Levels of Care, Pregnancy Assistance Information, Prenatal Care Clinic in Kansas City, Sexual Assault Forensic Exams via Telehealth Statewide Network (SAFE-T Network), Sexual Violence Prevention, Women’s Health Council, and Women’s Health Initiatives.

Oversees Breastfeeding Program, Breastfeeding Peer Counseling, and the Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Provides direction to programs across the Department regarding mi0rity health and health equity and oversees Mi0rity Infant Mortality Prevention Initiative, Equity in Obesity Prevention, and Promoting Healthy Mi0rity Communities initiiatives.

Oversees programs related to child care, home visiting (including MIECHV), Safe Sleep, early learning, and early intervention for children birth to age five, as well as afterschool programs for school-age children.
