Background & Bio

Eden Desta is a Digital Communications Intern at AMCHP. She is a Rice University alumna and is now pursuing a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) in Health Education and Health Communication at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She has a passion for community engagement and working towards health equity by contributing to the improvement of health outcomes of disadvantaged populations. Her rich Ethiopian background and meaningful work and leadership experiences inspire her to live a life of passion and purpose.
