Background & Bio
Ms. Stampfel has more than 15 years of experience in maternal and child health, specializing in MCH epidemiology, building capacity among the MCH workforce, and demonstrating impact. During her time at AMCHP, she has held several positions, including senior epidemiologist, Associate Director for Epidemiology & Evaluation, and Director of Programs. She received her bachelor’s degree in natural science from Fordham University and completed her Master of Public Health in environmental epidemiology at the Yale School of Public Health, where she focused on environmental health as it impacts MCH populations. Ms. Stampfel is a graduate of the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) Applied Epidemiology Fellowship in MCH. She is a SAS Certified Base Programmer in SAS 9 and trained in Technology of Participation (ToP) Facilitation Methods and Strategic Planning. Ms. Stampfel is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the University of South Florida in Advanced Practice in Public Health Leadership.
My Current Work
The CSPO provides skilled leadership to AMCHP’s work across programs, communications, and learning events, with a priority on strategic program development with a racial equity lens, evaluation and data-driven decision-making, talent development, and external relationship-building.
