National Resource, Partner, and Advocate

AMCHP is more than a membership organization. We are a national resource, partner, and advocate for state public health leaders who work and support state maternal and child health (MCH) programs and others working to improve the health of women, children, youth, families, and communities.

We support our members’ work and the MCH field by building successful programs, including:

• Disseminating best practices in maternal and child health
• Advocating on their behalf in Washington, DC
• Providing technical assistance
• Convening maternal and child leaders and thinkers to share experiences and ideas
• Advising states to reach our common goal of healthy children, healthy families, and healthy communities
