Online Course Available
Are you ready to contribute to state or national health transformation? Would you like to elevate your implementation skills and leadership capacity? The National MCH Workforce Development Center is offering an online course exploring the art and science of health transformation. Beginning in August 2017, the course is open to graduate students and MCH professionals interested in lifelong learning.
Back by popular demand, MHCH 745 is designed to integrate the theory, research literature, and evidence-supported practices that promote optimal population health outcomes in maternal and child health. Participants to examine and apply knowledge and skills in the following areas:
- Health Transformation
- MCH Financing
- Evidence-Based Decision Making
- Applied Implementation
- Leadership
- Systems Thinking
There are no course prerequisites. Learning is asynchronous, with weekly modules and an opportunity to connect with an online MCH community of practice. Participants may choose to earn one or three academic graduate credits or a certificate of completion.
