The election results were presented during the Annual Business Meeting held on March 18 in Washington, DC
Washington, DC – The Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs (AMCHP) is pleased to announce that the AMCHP membership has elected a new slate of officers to serve on the AMCHP Board of Directors. The election results were presented during the Annual Business Meeting, which took place on Tuesday, March 18, in conjunction with the 2025 AMCHP Annual Conference in Washington, DC.
Re-elections and new appointments to the AMCHP Board include Jacqueline Johnson (President-Elect), Janis Gonzales (Director-At-Large), Anne Odusanya (Director-At-Large), Marc Camardo (Region I Director), Vickie Ives (Region IX Director), and Katie Eilers (Region X Director). With these changes, the AMCHP Board of Directors now comprises seventeen members.
“On behalf of the AMCHP Board, I would like to congratulate these elected officers and warmly welcome them to the Board,” said Dawn Bailey, President of the AMCHP Board of Directors. “I am inspired by their leadership and dedication to improving maternal and child health outcomes for all. I look forward to collaborating with them and continuing to elevate the importance of our work and the voices of people with lived experience, families, and communities.”
The AMCHP Board of Directors is responsible for the association’s property, fund, affairs, and business while helping achieve the organization’s mission to advance the health of women, children, youth, families, and communities by strengthening governmental public health and deepening community partnerships. Its members hold key positions at the highest levels of maternal and child health, as well as public health across the nation.
