The Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs held its 2021 Annual Conference virtually on May 24-27, 2021. There were 1337 registered attendees at the 2021 AMCHP Annual Conference, which is an attendance record. The conference evaluation survey was sent to 1274 registered attendees who agreed to be contacted while registering for the conference. By the end of a three week survey period (June 1-21), AMCHP had received 305 survey responses for a survey response rate of 23.9%.

Survey Respondents

• The majority of survey respondents (67.4%, n=176) were affiliated with Title V MCH programs. Title V MCH affiliation is defined as being employed by or volunteering with a Title V MCH program.
• Less than half of the respondents indicated that they were AMCHP members (42.9%, n=112).
• Conference attendees represented 45 states, one jurisdiction, and three territories.
• More than half of the respondents reported attending an AMCHP conference before (61.5%)

Key Findings

• Most respondents were satisfied with their AMCHP 2021 Annual Conference experience (85.8%).
  • The majority of respondents found the content of the conference to be relevant to their professional needs (90.0%).
  • Most respondents were satisfied with all three of the plenary sessions (68.6% – 76.8%).
  • Most respondents reported satisfaction with the workshops they attended (92.5%).
• Most respondents agreed that the content of the conference aligned well with the theme, “Global Meets Local: A Global Approach for Local Outcomes” (78.0%).
• Most indicated ease of accessing conference content (92.1%) and website navigation (91.1%).
• Almost all respondents indicated that they would recommend AMCHP’s conference to peers and colleagues (98.5%).
• Over half of the respondents (52.0%) reported wanting to attend the 2022 AMCHP Conference in Washington, DC.
