Out of concern for the health and safety of both our attendees and their families and due to travel restrictions brought on by the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are postponing our annual conference scheduled for March 21-24, 2020 in Crystal City, VA. In addition to protecting our meeting participants and their families, rescheduling non-essential gatherings and/or travel is also done to slow the spread of this disease and protect the health system which will otherwise be overwhelmed. Your health is our top priority. We intend to reschedule and will be sharing updates in the coming weeks.

Please know that we are working quickly through the complex logistics of the cancellation/postponement. We expect you will have many questions regarding registration and refunds. We are sorting through that now and expect to address this in the coming weeks. We ask for your patience during this process.

HOTEL: If you have reserved a hotel room directly with the hotel, please be sure to cancel your reservation. The Crystal Gateway Marriott may be reached at (703) 920- 3230. If you are a sponsored traveler working with an AMCHP team member your room cancellations will be done for you, but you should connect with your AMCHP team member to confirm.

TRAVEL: Likewise, if you are a sponsored traveler, your arrangements will be cancelled for you, but you should still connect with your AMCHP team member to confirm. If you made travel arrangements directly with an air carrier or train line, please contact them directly.

HILL DAY: If AMCHP scheduled any Hill Day visits for you, they are being canceled on your behalf.

The AMCHP Annual Conference is our premier gathering and the planning and preparation of this event is immense and involves many dedicated MCH professionals. We are so very disappointed that we will not meet in our Nation’s Capital next weekend, but the safety and well-being of our members, attendees and staff must be taken into account above everything…and we look forward to seeing you in the near future.
