Background & Bio
Teja Vyavahare is the Policy Team Intern. Prior to joining AMCHP, Teja completed her Master of Public Health, Maternal and Child Health Track at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. During grad school, Teja held MCH-focused roles in health education, program planning, and research.
My Current Work
As Policy Intern, Teja will serve as a core member of the Public Policy & Government Affairs Team, support AMCHP’s government affairs activities, and contribute her talents to policy-focused grants, including the Maternal Health Learning & Innovation Center (P-239) and CDC NCBDDD Partnership Grant (P-124).
