Background & Bio
Sabra is the Associate Director for Clinical and Community Collaboration. Sabra was previously the manager of newborn bloodspot screening and Title V infant safe sleep programs in Alaska. She also worked as an itinerant (traveling) public health nurse in remote northwest Alaska, living in Nome. In Colorado, she was a county public health nurse, serving as a home visitor as well as an MCH injury prevention specialist, including child protection collaboration and child fatality reviews . Sabra is a Registered Nurse and holds a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of Alaska, Anchorage, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado, Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

My Current Work
Sabra and the Clinical and Community Collaboration team leads AMCHP’s telehealth work and supports several programs, including with AAP Bright Futures and the National Birth Defects Prevention Network.
