Background & Bio  

Gabrielle McLean is a Digital Communications Intern at AMCHP. She is a first-generation college student completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from The College of New Jersey. Gabrielle also holds an Associate of Arts from Middlesex County College and plans on pursuing a Master of Social Work. She served as a Publicity Intern for The College of New Jersey’s Counseling and Prevention Services. In this role, she researched various topics, such as sexual assault, women’s and LGBTQ+ substance use, and supporting the Asian American and Pacific Islander community to create social media posts and stories. Gabrielle also served as a Content Marketing Intern at Move For Hunger where she expanded the “Hunger is a Racial Equity Issue” project.  

My Current Work  

Gabrielle supports the Communications department with written and visual content for our website, social media platforms, and newsletters. She also assists with developing creative concepts and strategies for promoting the organization’s work.
