SUMMARY:MCH Innovations Database Fall 2026 Review
DESCRIPTION:AMCHP is thrilled to announce the Fall 2026 Review for the MCH Innovations Database beginning on Friday\, September 16th\, 2026! This means that all submissions received on or before September 16th will be included in this Fall 2026 Review cycle. All submissions received after this date (on or after September 17st) will be rolled into our Spring 2027 review cycle (date to be announced). All application materials including submission forms for each practice designation are currently available on AMCHP’s Innovation Hub site on the “Submit a Practice” tab. This review cycle\, the Innovation Hub is especially looking for practices and policies around childhood vaccination\, bullying\, medical home\, and food sufficiency\, all of which are a part of the updated set of National Performance Measures (NPMs) released in 2025 by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau under the Health Resources and Services Administration. These topics are areas of focus for the MCH Innovations Database\, and AMCHP is committed to expanding the breadth of practices and policies showcased in the Innovation Hub to ensure that resources are available around all of the 2025 NPMs. While we do want to develop specific topic areas within the database\, we continue to welcome submissions of any kind! As a reminder\, the Innovation Hub has recently added a Tool-specific submission track! This submission form was created to fill the gap for innovations or initiatives that didn’t quite fit with our standard Practice and Policy categories. The goal of spotlighting tools in the MCH Innovations Database is to share examples of tools or other aids that are being used to eliminate obstacles to and promote community wellness among MCH populations. AMCHP also invites community-based organizations to submit their practices to the Hub\, regardless of whether the practice has been evaluated by experimental or “traditional” methods. We believe in the power of community- and practice-defined evidence and seek to promote its use in MCH practice. If you have any questions about evidence or whether your evaluation data would be appropriate for the database\, please email us at evidence@amchp.org.
